David Reger
Founder and CEO
David Reger is the founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics. He coined the term “cognitive robotics” and has spent his career merging AI with advanced sensor and hardware design to build robots that work alongside people and solve real challenges like labor shortages.
After pursuing social impact work in Silicon Valley, he returned to Europe in 2013, founded three successful robotics companies, and started NEURA Robotics in 2019 driven by one goal: technology in service of humanity. A hands-on entrepreneur and industry voice, he shapes robotics policy and holds seats on several top economic councils in Germany and Europe.

Learn, Connect and Collaborate
Who is NEURA Robotics?
A leader in collaborative robotics and a pioneer in cognitive robotics, we build robots that see, hear, feel and learn. With over 1,400 employees from more than 45 countries, we develop all key technologies in-house, guided by the principle that we serve humanity. Our products include MAiRA, the world’s first cognitive robot arm; MiPA, a versatile robotic assistant; and 4NE1, a humanoid robot ready for mass production. All of these products are supported by the Neuraverse, the world’s first platform to connect cognitive robots into a shared intelligence network, and by NEURA Gyms, which are real-world environments where our robots learn and improve every day.
What differentiates NEURA Robotics from other robotics companies?
At NEURA, we develop all our software, hardware and platform technologies in-house, giving us full control over performance, safety and reliability. Our product range includes cognitive robot arms and general-purpose humanoids, all of which are connected through the Neuraverse to enable shared learning and rapid deployment. We collaborate closely with global industry leaders, including Bosch and Schaeffler, to ensure that our solutions are designed for real-world applications and can be scaled up.
Who are NEURA's partners and customers?
NEURA collaborates with industrial clients, integrators and strategic partners, including Qualcomm, Bosch, Schaeffler, NVIDIA, and AWS. Four of the world’s ten largest robotics companies use NEURA’s technology under their own brand. Our robots are deployed across Europe, the US, China and Japan and are available as standard and white-label solutions through partners such as Kawasaki Robotics.
How can companies or research institutions collaborate or partner with NEURA Robotics?
NEURA works directly with industrial clients, integrators and horizontal partners via a B2B platform. The Neuraverse allows partners to deploy, customize and continuously improve robotic solutions. We also collaborate with research institutions and universities on joint innovation, application development and integration projects. If you are interested in exploring a partnership, please get in touch with our team directly.
What is the Neuraverse?
The Neuraverse is NEURA’s global platform connecting robots, developers and industry partners. Every deployment makes each robot smarter through shared learning and real-time data. The Neuraverse also serves as a marketplace for robotics applications and is designed to become the world’s largest repository of real-world robotics data.
What is the NEURA Gym?
A NEURA Gym is a training facility for robots, where they learn to perform complex tasks in real-world conditions. The robots practise in controlled yet variable environments, generating the high-quality data required to validate and refine AI models prior to customer deployment.
How does NEURA ensure the safety, security, and ethical use of its robots?
At NEURA, we build responsibility into every product. All data collected is anonymized and processed in accordance with local regulations. We also work closely with regulators and industry partners to ensure that our robots are deployed in an ethical and safe manner.
What is NEURA Robotics' vision for the future?
We’re developing the world’s most impactful robotics platform. This will enable our robots to perform repetitive, hazardous and complex tasks, freeing people up to focus on what matters most.
