- Companies announce strategic partnership to shape the technological future
- NEURA and Bosch to expand the data foundation for humanoid robotics
- Bosch supports NEURA in scaling hardware and software for industrial deployment
- Partners gather real-world workplace and environmental data using sensor suits
Metzingen / Stuttgart, Germany: January 14, 2026 – NEURA Robotics, Europe’s pioneer in humanoid robotics and Physical AI, and Robert Bosch Robotics GmbH, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, are joining forces. The two companies have entered a strategic technology and development partnership to drive the industrial scaling of humanoid robotics and Physical AI from Germany. This partnership combines the innovation speed and open platform technology of a European scale-up with the manufacturing excellence and technological leadership of a global business. Humanoid robotics is regarded as the next technological revolution, on par with the introduction of the PC or smartphone.
Core elements of the partnership:
- NEURA and Bosch will jointly collect real-world work, movement, and environmental data in Bosch facilities using advanced sensor suits. Such physical training data for humanoid robots is rare and highly valuable. It is key to enabling rapid, efficient, and scalable deployment of humanoid robots.
- As part of the collaboration, Bosch and NEURA will co-develop AI-based core and functional software, as well as intuitive user interfaces.
- Bosch will support NEURA in the industrialization process – from optimizing production workflows to scaling software.
David Reger, Founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics:“NEURA aims to position Europe as the global leader in one of the most significant future markets, humanoid robotics. Our mission is to set the global benchmark for Physical AI and humanoid robotics, establishing a European alternative to the major platform players in the US and China. The partnership with Bosch is a powerful signal: Germany and Europe are investing in next-generation technologies developed independently. Physical training data is the biggest challenge in robotics; no one has it. At NEURA, we have turned this challenge into our competitive advantage, and now, with Bosch, we have the opportunity to capture, structure, and leverage real-world data.”
Peter Svejkovsky, Head of Intellectual Property at Robert Bosch GmbH, adds: “We want to harness the potential of humanoid robotics even more extensively. Working with NEURA, we are advancing this emerging field. In addition to data collection and software development, the partnership also includes the potential supply of robotic components by Bosch, as well as possible final assembly and motor production for humanoid robots.”
The Vision: The Operating System for Physical AI
NEURA is pursuing a radically open approach with its robotics ecosystem, the Neuraverse: Every humanoid robot learns as part of a connected network, sharing skills, data, and models. Continuous improvement across the entire fleet is enabled by software updates and AI. Combined with Bosch’s expertise in manufacturing, this creates a feedback loop that accelerates innovation throughout the robotics ecosystem.
With an order book exceeding one billion euros, NEURA is currently building scalable production capacity. NEURA COO Jens-Knut Fabrowsky, who knows Bosch’s industrialization expertise from his long tenure there, is leading the development of global manufacturing structures during this crucial phase.
David Reger: “Our partnership with Bosch unlocks a great opportunity for our generation: bringing Physical AI and humanoid robotics into everyday life. Just as the early German automotive industry didn’t wait for others but created new technologies and became global leaders, we now have the chance to return Germany to a leading role, robotics presents a unique opportunity.”

About NEURA Robotics
Founded in Germany in 2019, NEURA Robotics has scaled rapidly across continents with one clear mission: to make robotics a global solution to some of humanity’s greatest challenges – from labour shortages and aging societies to productivity and sustainability. The award-winning innovators from Metzingen follow a consistent “one-device” approach across their entire product portfolio – from industrial to household robots. With the Neuraverse, the company is creating the foundation for the iPhone moment of robotics, bridging the gap between technology and humans. All core innovations, including AI, are developed in-house. NEURA’s cognitive robots can see, hear, and have a sense of touch. They act fully autonomously and learn from experience. Today, NEURA is on the path to bringing the first general-purpose humanoid robot to market, supported by a rapidly growing global partner network.
