Metzingen/Berlin, September 30, 2025 – NEURA Robotics is now a member of the Made for Germany initiative. For the first time, the high-tech company from Metzingen is bringing key robotics technology to the alliance of more than 100 leading companies that are working together toward a clear goal: to make Germany the engine of growth, innovation, and competitiveness once again.
Founded in July 2025, the initiative brings together start-ups, SMEs, and industry – companies that invest billions in research, development, and infrastructure and work with politicians on urgently needed reforms. Their joint message: Germany can and must shape the future – with less bureaucracy, more digitalization, and greater international clout.
David Reger, founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics, says: “It was high time that robotics was represented in this initiative. Without robotics, Germany will lose its global edge. We are talking about the biggest market of the future – a technology that will determine our competitiveness in the coming decades. Our aim is to set standards from Germany instead of just playing catch-up.”
Robotics is considered one of the key drivers of growth worldwide: whether in care and health, in the home, in industry, or in service, intelligent robots are the answer to the shortage of skilled workers, demographic change, and increasing demands for efficiency and sustainability. Countries that are leaders in this field are not only securing their productivity but also their global relevance. With cognitive robotics, humanoid robots, and the world’s first robotics ecosystem, Neuraverse, NEURA has already proven time and again that Germany can not only keep up but also lead the way. Joining Made for Germany is therefore also a commitment: NEURA will work tirelessly to establish Germany as a leading location for robotics and artificial intelligence – and thus help shape the future of work worldwide.
Verena Pausder, Chairwoman of the Startup Association, adds: “I am delighted that startups and scaleups are contributing their innovative strength to ‘Made for Germany’. Young technology companies such as NEURA Robotics in particular demonstrate that groundbreaking technologies that change the world can emerge from Germany.”

About NEURA Robotics
NEURA Robotics was founded in 2019 by David Reger to close relevant innovation gaps and usher in the age of cognitive robotics. The multi-award-winning innovators from Metzingen pursue a strict “one-device” approach across their entire product range, from industrial to domestic robots. The idea behind this is a smartphone with arms and legs that combines all the central components and sensors for physical artificial intelligence in one device. With the “Neuraverse,” the company is creating the conditions for the iPhone moment in robotics and closing the gap between technology and humanity. Fundamental cognitive abilities, a security and operating system, and an open development environment enable the scaling of robotics applications in an unprecedented way. A growing range of apps and autonomous learning open up a wide field of application for robots of all designs in everyday social life, as well as unprecedented flexibility and cost efficiency in automation.
The robotics hub emerging around NEURA is attracting many international market leaders. NEURA Robotics has established partnerships with Kawasaki Robotics, Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies, Delta Electronics, and other leading manufacturers.
All the innovations and technological components required for this success, including AI, are developed in-house by NEURA Robotics. This has enabled new standards to be set in physical AI, precision, and safety. NEURA’s cognitive robots can see, hear, and have a sense of touch. They act completely autonomously and learn from experience.
Today, with more than 700 employees, NEURA is well on its way to launching the first humanoid general-purpose robot on the market. At the opening of OMR in May 2025, the world’s first household and service robot, called MiPA, was unveiled in Hamburg.
