Stuttgart/Hamburg, August 13, 2026 – NEURA Robotics is acquiring the ACTIVE Shuttle automated guided vehicle from Bosch Rexroth, effective October 1, 2026. The acquisition expands the portfolio of NEURA Mobile Robots GmbH and marks another step in building a comprehensive European ecosystem for Physical AI. Within the NEURA Group, NEURA Mobile Robots brings together the expertise for autonomous intralogistics and automated guided vehicles.
A proven industrial platform meets Physical AI
The ACTIVE Shuttle has established itself across numerous industrial companies as a field-proven solution for automated material transport, from supplying assembly workstations to moving small load carriers in production and logistics. NEURA Mobile Robots is taking over both the hardware and software of the ACTIVE Shuttle and will also offer service to customers going forward. For existing customers, this above all means continuity and investment security. At the same time, the platform is entering its next stage of development.
NEURA plans to integrate the ACTIVE Shuttle into its Physical AI ecosystem step by step and to extend it with AI functionality as well as interfaces to the technologies of the NEURA Group. The aim is to develop what is already a high-performing autonomous transport solution into an even more intelligent and more connected platform over the long term.
Proven technologies such as the ACTIVE Fleet Manager and the ROKIT navigation software remain part of the solution. In the longer term, these navigation and fleet-management technologies are also set to become accessible as software and hardware tools through the Neuraverse, making them available for further NEURA robotics applications as well.
From individual robots to a connected ecosystem
The integration follows NEURA Robotics’ overarching strategy: different types of robots, from mobile platforms and industrial robots through to humanoids, are to be connected on a shared Physical AI infrastructure. This is not only about making individual robots more intelligent. What matters is a common technological foundation that lets robots perceive, navigate, learn, draw on skills and work together with other machines.
