Your Role

Create something revolutionary. You develop software for highly integrated embedded components of industrial robots. The embedded systems collect and handle sensor data, drive servomotors, ensure safe and reliable operation of the robot as well as handle communication with the central control system. You are designing firmware for those components from scratch and share your experience in software architecture and design to ensure maximum utilization of our self-designed hardware. You cover all steps from demonstrating the functionality with a prototype to designing and elaborating the final system fulfilling challenging industrial requirements.

Take responsibility. You lead the development project of firmware for embedded systems in our robotic system. You work with an interdisciplinary team of experts and are responsible for the interfaces and requirements to high-level software and electronics. You help your colleagues to overcome challenges, remove obstacles and provide an inspiring working environment supporting creativity and openness.


Your Profile

  • University degree in embedded systems, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field of study
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in development of firmware for embedded systems  
  • Advanced knowledge in hardware-related software development for µCs and SoCs
  • Good foundations on RTOS usage (scheduling, synchronization and resources management)
  • Competences in design of hardware for embedded systems
  • Experience with real-time fieldbuses applications (preferable EtherCAT)
  • Knowledge about redundant and failsafe software design according to current standards is beneficial
  • Methodical thinking for complex problems
